After testing the ROPOS multibeam system in Halifax harbour (1) Hudson departs July 7th or 8th, steaming towards the Gully MPA (2) for tests and current meter deployment. Hudson then travels nearly 2.5 days to Flemish Cap (3) for 4 days of benthic surveys, then to Orphan Knoll (4) for 6 days of surveys and then Tobin's Point (5) for 1.5 days of surveys before returning to the Gully to retrieve the current meters. Upon completion in the Gully, we'll steam back to BIO, arriving on July 28th. The total trip is ~2100 nm.
